Let me introduce myself

To my new followers and those who don’t know me that well 

Let me introduce myself…

My name is Mina I’m sole designer and owner of Mina D Jewelry creating one of a kind semi precious jewelry for over 12 yrs.

I’ve been in the NYC’s diamond industry since the age of 18, growing into my last position of Finance Director that I held for over 20 something years. 

I managed to juggle both the full time position of my career as finance director and the owner and designer of an online company.

The unfortunate pandemic pushed me out of my position as finance director and full time into my jewelry, growing my own business that has been my passion since day one.

At the start I was not comfortable being the model and hired models for my events and print ads, and still do.

I was coaxed into modeling for my brand from my former publicist and from various professional luxury editors of high end magazines.

Thus my career in being featured on the cover of a magazine and in various print publications as the face and model of my brand.

I’m definitely more comfortable in front of the camera as my career advanced and opportunities being interviewed and photographed grew. 

And yes at over 40 I’m guilty of using filters, makeup and ring lights.

I’m a nyc native, born and raised in brooklyn, living and working in nyc for most of my adult life, and spending most summers and part of winters with my grandparents in Miami Beach.

I’m now proud to be a jersey shore resident and love the suburban lifestyle.

My love of jewelry began at a very young age, playing dress up with my dolls and designing jewelry for them out of any metal scraps I found. 

As my love of fashion and jewelry grew into adulthood and Mina D Jewelry was founded.
