Met Gala Fashion

The iconic Met Gala took place last night in NYC at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and we've selected some of our favorite fashion to share with you.

The spring 2023 exhibition theme is 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty'. In honor of Karl.

The gala will honor the legacy of Lagerfeld—the late designer who helmed fashion houses such as Chanel, Fendi, and his own eponymous line—and raise funds for The Met’s Costume Institute.

Just as important as the exhibition, of course, is the star-studded red carpet spectacle that will take place as guests make their way up the famous Met steps. After all, the Met Gala—often dubbed the “Super Bowl of fashion”—has created some of the most memorable (and viral) celebrity red carpet looks from the past decade. This year, the A-list attendees were asked to dress “in honor of Karl”—meaning you’re bound to see some custom ensembles that pay homage to Lagerfeld’s design signatures, including his Chanel tweeds and his own black-and-white uniform.

The Red carpet was a dream to see, the stunning couture fashion, the daring looks the favorite celebrities. The list of attendees did not disappoint from the fashion icons to the musical artists, to the actors and actresses, this was a Gala that brings the glamour to front and center. It also brings amazing creativity and costume design on trend with the theme of the gala. Some of the fashion was only Costume Gala appropriate in its opulence and grandeur.

The classic black and white of Chanel dominated the red carept but the pops of color as seen on Ashley Graham, Viola Davis and Selma Hayak did not dissapoint. The iconic tweeds took on a 2023 Met Gala look that you can only see on this night. Many handsome men dressed in theri finest, Bradley Cooper, Pierce Brosnan, Usher and countless others.

Its and absolute inspiration as a designer to see the fashion, the jewelry the beauty of the night.
