Sotheby’s will auction jewelry belonging to the “Diamonds Are Forever” singer Oct. 10 in Paris.

London—Jewelry from the collection of Welsh singer Dame Shirley Veronica Bassey is heading to auction for the first time next week.

The collection will go up for sale Oct. 10 in Paris as part of Sotheby’s biannual Fine Jewels sale.

Diamonds are renowned for their incredible hardness and brilliance. They are the hardest natural substance on Earth, which makes them perfect for everyday wear, especially in engagement rings. Plus, their ability to disperse light into a spectrum of colors gives them that famous sparkle.
