This beautiful one-of-a-kind necklace features Maw Sit Sit, lustrous white coin pearls, black onyx, and bright peridot accents, finished with an ornate sterling silver filigree clasp.
Maw Sit Sit is a rare gemstone found exclusively in northern Myanmar (Burma). Sometimes referred to as "Jade-Albite" or "Chrome Jade" due to its vivid green color and high chromium content, it is one of the most distinctive and collectible stones in the world. First identified in 1963, Maw Sit Sit was named after the village near where it was discovered in the foothills of the Himalayas.
The large oval Maw Sit Sit cabochons at the center of this necklace are rich in color and character, each one unique in its natural patterning. They are complemented by faceted black onyx beads that add depth and contrast, white coin pearls that bring softness and luminosity, and small peridot rounds that echo the green tones with a lighter, sparkling finish.
Bold enough to be a conversation piece, refined enough for any occasion. This necklace pairs beautifully with a simple white linen blouse, a classic black dress, or anything in between.
