The Wedding of the Season: Lauren Sanchez Diamond Ring, insider Mina D's Perspective
Let’s take a moment to talk about the wedding everyone is whispering about and the diamonds that left even the most seasoned of us in awe. My longtime friend and world-renowned jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz delivered nothing short of brilliance for Lauren Sánchez’s spectacular wedding in Venice.
Of course, all eyes were on Lauren and rightfully so. Her look was pure elegance, but what truly captivated the global fashion and jewelry scene was the extraordinary diamond ring gracing her finger. A jaw-dropping, 30-carat diamond, estimated to be valued well over $4 million, radiating unmatched brilliance and timeless beauty.
And for those of us who appreciate true rarity, she took it one step further wearing an exceptionally rare large Pink Diamond ring. As someone deeply rooted in this industry, I can tell you, pink diamonds of that caliber are some of the most coveted gemstones in the world. They are symbols of rarity, exclusivity, and quiet power few will ever own one, even fewer will wear it so effortlessly.
Having spent over two decades alongside Lorraine 20 years of shared office spaces, client conversations, and behind-the-scenes moments I’ve witnessed firsthand the level of expertise, vision, and dedication that goes into creating pieces of this magnitude. Her work consistently redefines modern luxury and red-carpet glamour.

Met Gala 2025: A Celebration of Tailored Elegance and Iconic Style
Last night, the fashion world converged at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2025 Met Gala, embracing the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” This year's gala honored the rich history and influence of Black dandyism, celebrating the artistry and cultural significance of tailored fashion.
As a native New Yorker these iconic places captivated by the Met Gala are more then just what is in the media, for me they are my usual New York spots. The Mark Hotel is one of my favorites go to bars for drinks with the ladies. The Met Museum a normal to walk by and stand in front to check my phone when I am on the UES.
Despite the evening's rain, the red carpet was ablaze with creativity and elegance. Here are some standout moments that captivated us:
