As someone deeply rooted in this industry, I can tell you, pink diamonds of that caliber are some of the most coveted gemstones in the world. They are symbols of rarity, exclusivity, and quiet power few will ever own one, even fewer will wear it so effortlessly.

Last night, the fashion world converged at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2025 Met Gala, embracing the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” This year's gala honored the rich history and influence of Black dandyism, celebrating the artistry and cultural significance of tailored fashion.

As a native New Yorker these iconic places captivated by the Met Gala are more then just what is in the media, for me they are my usual New York spots. The Mark Hotel is one of my favorites go to bars for drinks with the ladies. The Met Museum a normal to walk by and stand in front to check my phone when I am on the UES.

Despite the evening's rain, the red carpet was ablaze with creativity and elegance. Here are some standout moments that captivated us:

• Demi Moore captivated onlookers in a striking black-and-white off-the-shoulder gown by Thom Browne, designed to resemble an oversized necktie. She complemented the look with silver drop earrings and matching bangles, styled her hair in an elegant bun, and sported a smoky eye makeup look.

• Adrien Brody made a statement with a gothic-inspired ensemble, accessorized with an oversized brooch by Elsa Jin, adding a touch of avant-garde flair to his look.

• Pharrell Williams, a co-chair of the event, embraced the theme with a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble adorned with 100,000 pearls, reflecting his personal interpretation of dandyism and intentional style.

• Miley Cyrus turned heads in a risqué fishnet gown by Marc Jacobs, paired with a short, spiked hairstyle that added an edgy twist to her look.

• Anne Hathaway exuded elegance in a Carolina Herrera ensemble featuring a crisp white dress shirt with an exaggerated collar and a beaded maxi skirt. She accessorized with a massive diamond necklace centered with a rectangular sapphire from Bulgari.

• La La Anthony paid homage to her late friend Virgil Abloh by wearing an archival Off-White design from the Fall 2020 collection, celebrating his visionary contributions to fashion.
